Pastors
The New Testament describes two offices in the church: pastors and deacons. Elder and pastor are interchangeable titles designating one office. Pastors have been called by God to lead and teach in the church. Such men are to teach and lead primarily by dedicating themselves to the Word of God and prayer.
Pastor
John Tambakis was born and raised in Toronto, but certainly loves Mississauga as well. John Tambakis became pastor of Park Royal Bible Church in January 2024. He became a Christian at a young age, and has a passion to help Christians grow in the faith, help non-Christians see who Jesus really is, and to strengthen healthy churches in Canada and beyond. Before coming to Park Royal Bible Church he worked at Grace Fellowship Church Don Mills and Grace Fellowship Church in Rexdale. He graduated with a commerce degree from McMaster University and a Master of Divinity from Toronto Baptist Seminary. He is married to Chloe, and is the father of Charlotte and Theo. He loves to read all types of books and is an avid basketball fan.
Until Park Royal Bible Church raises up a second elder within the congregation, we are co-led by the elders of another Gospel-preaching church, Grace Fellowship Church in Rexdale. These elders are Paul Martin, Tim Challies, Tristan Watson and Patrick Galla.
