Gospel-Centeredness

We have been bought by Jesus Christ and we want the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ to be at the centre of everything we do.

Word-Centred Worship

We want to make God’s Word the centrepiece of our worship services. Our services will include Bible-saturated prayers, songs that are Scripturally sound and based on the Word, the reading of Scripture, and the expositional preaching of the Bible. We will also have baptisms and we will regularly remember our Lord Jesus as we participate in the Lord’s Supper.

Meaningful Membership

We believe that healthy, obedient Christians ought to pursue church membership in a local church. We believe that membership matters, and that God has given each member a job in his or her local church. That job includes caring and loving their fellow members, living a faithful Christian life and seeking to protect and preserve the Gospel.

Biblical Governance

We believe that the New Testament model of church governance calls for Biblically-qualified elders to lead the church while remaining accountable to the membership. For this reason, the membership has the final say on who their elders are, and the elders are approved by the members and re-evaluated on a regular basis. Additionally, the members must assent to both the inclusion and removal of members.
